This unit centers around Coach’s chat with the team regarding their future MLB and career goals. Students will learn 10 key English vocabulary terms related to their future dreams. 

MLB Careers & Rules

In this unit, Coach gives a pep talk to the players about the environment of the ballpark and enjoying home field games. Students will learn 10 key English vocabulary terms related to the stadium.

This final assessment checks understanding of key vocabulary terms of the English for Baseball Players 2 course.

Assessment

English for Baseball Players 2 builds on the first course by introducing 50 additional baseball terms used in real game situations. Through short, engaging readings based on a coach’s notes and talks, students continue to develop their listening and reading skills while practicing how to respond using precise baseball language. The course also features reading comprehension and speaking activities to reinforce understanding and communication.
